Nevada County, CA (April 21, 2024) – Kasey Patrick (23) of Nevada County died in a DUI accident in Nevada County. Meanwhile, the authorities arrested the driver suspected of DUI. According to ABC10, the authorities received a report around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Kasey Patrick died in a DUI accident in Nevada County, along Highway 49, north of Oak Drive.

The California Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Volkswagen Passat was traveling north. Moreover, while attempting a right curve, the driver let the vehicle drift off to the highway’s right side. 

Consequently, it crashed into several oak trees and tumbled down a steep embankment. Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop on its side, about 45 feet away from the road.

Unfortunately, 23-year-old passenger Kasey Patrick died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver, Isabella Christmon, 23, also from Nevada County, sustained serious injuries. 

Authorities took her to a hospital and later arrested her for suspected DUI.
