The California Highway Patrol reported a Silverado pickup ran through the intersection without stopping. Then, this truck collided with a Dodge pickup towing a fifth-wheel travel trailer.
Unfortunately, Mark Bruce, 57, from Fresno who drove the Silverado and failed to stop, died in the accident.
Additionally, two women riding in Mark Bruce’s truck, Blanca Villegas Martinez, 18, from Selma and Dezirae Perez, 17, from Fresno, also lost their lives. Reportedly, the CHP noted they weren’t wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle.
