About 4,600 Escalade Sports Outdoor Playsets have been recalled after 24 reports of swing seats breaking in half, causing the person in the swing to fall to the ground. The product was made in China. See the recall.

About 107,500 Lasko Products portable electric heaters were recalled after 36 reports of an electrical connection overheating, causing melting, exposing the electrical connection. This product was manufactured in China. See the recall.

Summer Infant recalls Video Baby Monitors after two deaths.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Summer Infant have issued a recall after two strangulation deaths were reported with their Video Baby Monitor product. The recall affects 1.7 million Video Baby Monitors with cords. The cords present a strangulation risk, and should never be within three feet of a crib. The product was made in China.
