Yuba City, CA (April 13, 2024) – A car accident in Yuba County left a 55-year-old Olivehurst man dead after his vehicle went off the ramp and crashed into trees. According to FOX40, the man was driving his car around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday.

A car accident in Yuba County left a 55-year-old Olivehurst man dead after two separate car crashes.

The California Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred at about 1:20 a.m. on Saturday. Reportedly, the man was heading south in his red Nissan sedan on Highway 70. 

Unexpectedly, he swerved off the freeway at the Feather River exit. Subsequently, his car left the ramp, hitting several trees before rolling back into the highway and obstructing both lanes of traffic. 

Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Following this, a 20-year-old Vacaville woman, in a white 2015 Audi A4, crashed into the already wrecked Nissan while driving under the influence. Consequently, the police arrested her on suspicion of DUI, booking her into Yuba County jail.

As of now, the Nissan driver’s identity in this car accident in Yuba County is pending notification of his family.
